Yes — the selfie is what personalizes their photo delivery. Without it, the system wouldn't know which photos to send them. The selfie takes about 10 seconds and is a one-time setup. Guests can start receiving their photos within minutes of registering.
Is the selfie data secure?
Absolutely. Selfie data is used only for photo matching during your event and is stored securely. Guest privacy is maintained throughout the entire process. Data is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose beyond delivering their event photos.
What if a guest doesn't want to participate?
No problem. Participation is completely optional. Guests who prefer not to receive Instant Live photos can simply skip scanning the QR code — nothing changes about their event experience.
What phone types work with this?
Any modern smartphone works — iPhone, Android, older or newer. As long as the phone has a camera and can access the internet, guests can participate. No specific app or operating system requirements.
What happens if a guest's phone dies during the event?
Their photos are still captured and saved. When they check their gallery later — even days after the event — all their personalized photos will be waiting for them. The photos don't disappear if their phone is offline.
How long do guests have access to their photos?
Guest galleries remain active for the same 30-day period as the main event gallery. Guests can download their photos anytime during that window. Extended access is available via reinstatement.
